If you are referring to the exhaust manifold "turn down dump" to the turbo, yes, there is a crush gasket, it can burn out if the connection became loose, or been re-installed... .

Otherwise, the rest of the system has V-Band clamps, no gasket.

There is a gasket between the exhaust manifold and the gasket, but none from the turbo to the tail pipe.

Thanks all, I had the clamp fail where the turndown exits the turbo while on a trip a week ago. Drove to nearest dealer but they didn't have it ion stock, my good luck. I drove 45 miles and saw a big blue "C" on a store front. By the time I got the truck/5th wheeler stopped I was three stores down. I walked back and of course they had the clamp in stock and it was $23. 58 out the door. Slightly over a fourth of what it would have been at dealer($85. 00 plus tax). Took me at least 15 minutes to install after the engine cooled down. Would have been faster if I had a 12mm deep socket. Thanks again, bg
