Exhaust pipe vibration is louder than the engine at idle speeds (775 to about 900 rpm) - ears can't take it any longer.
The tail pipe is actually what vibrates and is the source of the noise at idle speed. If I put my foot on the tail pipe ever so slightly it will stop the vibration. I've built a custom super thick exhaust hanger (tripple thick rubber) but to no avail. Seams their should be a good motion dampening hanger or weight that can be clamped on the pipe to change the resonate frequency.
Has anyone got any ideas for clean effective solutions to resolve this issue. Hardware sources appreciated.
Thanks,
Paul
