Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Exhuast Gaskets

Anyone want to explain why when you buy an aftermarket exhuast manifold, the gaskets are a seperate item?



Are the stock gaskets supposed to be reusable?



Every other header I've bought for other rigs came with a full gasket kit. Only makes sense.

A lot of people do reuse the exhaust gaskets as they are steel. unless they are deteriated or cracked they should be ok. I prefer using new ones but have reused old ones with no problems. I just got a set of felpros for $13 for a set of 6. Cheapest I could find them from truck shops was $3. 50 apiece and are sold as individuals.

There's the 6 gaskets on the engine side, and then there's one for the manifold to turbo as well, correct?
