Does anyone know where to get an extra fuel tank for a 98 dually? It can be in bed or underneath, the larger the better. \

Many places sell them. Depends on what you want.

Check the TDR magazine for ads, or do a google search.

I put a 45 Gal in-the-bed Aero Diamond Plate tank in my '95 a couple of years ago. I love it. I've probably saved a couple of hundred dollars in fuel money by being able to fill up at the truck stops instead of smaller, more costly stations.

I can go about 1600 miles between fill-ups if I need to, but I generally fill ONLY the Aux. tank and then transfer it to the main. I have a big NAPA fuel filter/water separator on the Aux. and so most of my fual gets filtered twice. It's good insurance.

I have ALOT of experience using and installing TransferFlow tanks. They are spendy but top notch in designn construction and operation. I am not a dealer just a satisfied user. Once i got and installed mine several family members and friends got one and asked me to install them. THey have extremely good instructions and fit just like they are supposed to. Everything is included down to the last wire tie.

There is a company featured in every TDR mag that makes replacement OEM location tanks that hold like twice the normal amount, but I cannot think of their name.

I have a Transferflow 45 gallon across the bed tank, had to take it out for the Camper though. I sure do miss it, except when I paid to fill it up.

just took delivery of my Transfer Flow OEM 54 gallon replacement tank... this sucker is huge:--) Can't wait to get it installed.

We got two TransferFlow tanks for work trucks because of good recommendations in TDR. They happen to be in Furd trucks, but they fit great, work great and allow the awesome V10 to go almost 500 miles pulling a 10k trailer (approx 6 mpg!).

Anyway, TransferFlow has been good for us.

I installed a Transfer Flow 70 gallon in-bed tank in my Ram recently. I bought the Express-UFS, the one advertised in the TDR magazine. It works great and makes me wonder how I traveled without it.

As others said, the instructions provided with the tank are clear and everything is provided.

The TF tank has a mini-computer that reads the OEM fuel gauge and automatically initiates fuel transfer from the auxiliary tank to the main when fuel level in the main tank falls below 3/8 full. The TF computer stops fuel transfer when the main tank reaches 3/4 full.

TF tanks are DOT approved and have been crash and roll over tested.

Transfer Flow employees including the engineer who developed the tank will talk with you if you have questions about their product. I am a satisfied owner.

Transfer Flow Customer Service at the order desk??

I must have called on the wrong day. The person who answered the phone acted like he didn't care if I ordered or not. His attitude conviced me to look around and consider other options. If he represents the company, his attitude isn't one I want to deal with. Did I just happen to catch an employee on a bad day? Anyone else have this experience?
