Got these pics via Dan Scheid, this is the same set up as there pulling truck has on it, it's finished and on the market, remember this is no window washer pint/min delivery system, able to handle several nozzles and a bunch of liquid;) just thought I would pass it on. Nice piece of Equipment!

Attached are photos of the water injection tank, frame assy, high pressure pump and drive motor line and nozzle would also be included

Water Inj.

Jim, the systems I've seen are very capable in terms of GPM flow rates. The smokers use more water then fuel on a run. Based on egt the two stage system will kick into high gear and flood the engine. They even see the oil emulsify.

Jim, looks very nice, but do you need something that large scale?

Something tells me they already can... .

Above: the use of a 12 cylinder pump on a 6 cylinder

diesel tractor pulling engine.

Something I thought was classy, even though they are bitter enemies, Scheid's has a note on their homepage saying...

Come out and see the Scheid Diesel pulling truck and Dave Mitchell run exhibition pulls...

Come on now Andrew!

"Bitter enemies" is a bit embellished!

"Fierce competitors" is more like it.

Guess where I'm going tomorrow... ... ... . :--)

Well Matt, you and I know that the Texans typing should not be taken seriously, but a whole lot of people could read that and take it otherwise.

There are no Diesel Pullers that I know of that hate each other that bad. Well, all the Fords hate me, but thats different.

The gasser boys aren't real happy with us neither, but they are not important.

Mostly, the midwest pullers, and (shudder) even the west coast pullers get along very well, and the trash talk bench racing is just for fun.

And Just for the record, I have never heard Scheids or Mitchells participate in that sort of fun.

Gene, I it's just something I don't expect to see on their website. Didn't mean anything negitive by it. :)

And just for the record, DIPloGene sounds good to me :D

Schied had this system on display at their Lafayette shop last weekend for the GLTDR to view, along with a twin turbo 5. 9, and several multi-turbo (READ: MORE THAN 2) tractor engines with pumps that seemed to have too many fuel lines for the number of cylinders. Oo. I didn't get to play with the water injection thingy, I suffered something of a system overload with everything else going on.
