Is anybody using the PE-EZ in an otherwise totaly stock truck?
I'm still having a hard time doing what I know is right (transmission first). I stubbornly want to have the power, without spending the money (I don't have much to spend on the truck). I will be getting the transmission serviced in the next few weeks, to get ready for towing season. Will increasing the line pressure, only, be enough protection?
Has anybody else tried to cheat "just-a-little" and what have been the consequences? Remember, this is the only mod. for now, I PROMISE I will do the transmission next (if necessary). I just want to be able to go above 60 MPH on the local grades (Michigan hills). A few horror stories would be enough to convince me, but I'd also like to hear any sucess stories from people using only the box.
