My truck averaged about 23mpgs on a trip over the Sierra's from Sacramento to Bishop,CA and back to Sacto this weekend. I used only 33. 8 gallons round trip. Before I added the EZ and the DD2' I only made it one way before a fillup was needed. This combo rocks!! :) :)

How did you get your mileage, did you calculatee it out or did you use the trip computer?

I have DD2's and Edge EZ also and get about 18mpg.

Just wondering, Thanks

George

I know my milage computer is off... ... but on my way to KC yesterday I used alot of restraint and kept the cruise set to 70mph and if I remember correclty I only took it over 80mph once... . thats when i got a lil upset with some slow people. Once in KC I went to sonic to warm up the truck before the dyno run, and then made roughly 7 or 8 passes on the dyno. On the way down there I had it reading 23. 3mpg... . and then on the way back I got it back upto 22. 6mpg, no cruise control, speed was roughly 70mph... . but several runs upto 90mph and what not. Now I know this is not correct, not trying to make it sound like it is..... but normally I show around 17 to 18mpg on the trip computer when actualy milage is around 14. 5mpg... ... so I am extremely curious as to waht the milage really is. I will try to fill up tonight before work so I can verify. The COMP box was in Level I Sublevel I to obtain this. I usually never pay attention to milage due to the fact my in town driving kills any and all milage hopes :D

So what your saying is you "in town" driving give you GPM not MPG??

Works for the railroads. . works for me hehehe. With my driving habits and my truck setup (4. 10 auto 4x4 and a lil hp) I don't care what my milage is due to my in town habits. But Normally I get 14. 5mpg ..... thats with the COMP always on level II sometimes III.

You did WHAT with the pump for how many miles????

I read where he was going to come up with a kit for this, is this just the test version? Is that 27-28 on the trip computer, or figured by hand (calculator for us slow ones)?

Joe, more info please!!!
