What Manual should I get for my truck found the original dealer options and price sheet and it say truck is a 98 but its a 24 valve anyway somebody on Here the other said they got the 98 manual and said that it didn't have any info for the 24 valve fuel system .

Thanks for any advice

The 1998 Rams are generally referred to as '98 or '98. 5 models. Early '98s, were 12 valve. Those produced later were 24 valve. I believe the 12 valve models were all produced before 1/1/98. Dodge made several 1/2 year models in different years so the earlier ones had different features than later ones.
The factory service manual I had described the engine as a 24 valve but most of the data included was for the 12 valve. Since that was what I had, I didn't look beyond that. If I recall, it had a supplement section for the 24 valve engine changes. Perhaps someone who has a complete manual can verify that and provide what you need.

I have genos on dvd and it includes 12 And 24 valve. I also have paper manuals from dodge which I bought when the truck was new.

How do the paper manuals hold up and is it two separate books ? I bought the paper manual from genos garage for my 92 and it fell apart the first time I used it its also over 4000 pages and I think that has something to do with it

I'd go with the digital version. Easier to search and print out the pages you need at the time and not worry about oily fingerprints.

Make sure you get ALL of the manuals for your year. Service, Diagnostic, and on some occasions a third one that I can not for the life of me remember the name.

I ran into this with the wife's '06 jeep. Needed the diagnostic manual that had the wiring schematics and trouble shooting trees for DTCs ~ not included in the service manual.
