Somewhere in the past there was a thread about factory stereos. My daughter bought me an early Christmas present. She set me up with a local stereo shop (Eggers) and bought my a Sony GT630UI AM/FM CD player with an Aux and USB port on the faceplate. I had kicked around getting this stereo because it had green backlighting to match my dash lights and the USB/Aux on the faceplate. Then Crutchfield discontinued it and I thought I missed out. All I can say is cool. I don't have an iPod. I have a Sony MP3 player and I can plug it into either the Aux and control the player through it's own controls or plug it into the USB port where it gets charged and the stereo controls the player, albeit limited control. I just hit shuffle device and sit back and enjoy the drive. Nice improvement for my rig. Now I am thinking speakers and a small amp (not a thumper). This must be that "slippery slide" but for the inside
