You actually have the 5.0 Radio then.....

Go to the SETTINGS button on your stereo, then toggle up or down until you find the trailer brake settings.

Yep did that when first hooked up to trailer . On light setting at Max , barely enough . I think what I need help with is after setting it up for light mode how do I get to heavy setting

Thanks gsbrockman . I was trying to change settings using the readout in dashboard . Now trailer in storage will have to wait sometime to hook up . Hope I will remember next spring how to change settings . Thanks again ,,,, ,,,,, love this forum , and just confirming

Have electric brakes on trailer
Have hydraulic brakes on truck .

Electric over hydraulic is hydraulic brakes on the trailer. Only difference is it doesn't send a check signal which typically damages hydraulic actuators. Otherwise no different.

Yes, cause it's not electric over hydraulic. Owners manual says light for under 10k and heavy for 10k and more.
