I'm going still. Just got back from fishing in the bay. It's 9:45, but I'm still going. Don't know if I'll see you before I get to MIR, but I'm leaving Martinsburg at about 6:30 -6:45 AM.
Turnout in general was the lowest I've seen at 4 of these events. MDTDR had Fest3r, Shovelhead, rattlinram, ob1kobi, huff n puff and myself. Hope I didn't miss any names. Hope tyhe spring event has a better turnout. I don't mean just MDTDR since it was just a low turnout for all trucks.
Sorry I wasn't there. Had to run to N Va, but as it turned out, I wouldn't have made it anyway. Got about 5 miles from home and the truck blew the rear brake line. I thought it best I take the truck back home. See you guys next time. I'll try and have it fixed by spring.

I forgot about that 6. 35 ET for the 1/4. For all you big smokers, make sure the wind is blowing towards the starting line, then light up the boost. By the time the smoke clears and thinks you just broke the beams, you're halfway down the track and you can pick up a 6+ second time slip at the finish line.
He had it set up for tractor pulls,he was visiting friends in the area and just wanted to see how it would run on the strip. On his first run he turned a mid 12sec run and had to quit cause he blew a head gasket. Merv
