Western New York Powerstroke Association Dyno Day

I wouldn't miss it, gotta see what Brandon's "Rhino Rig" can do with that new set of twins. See ya'll there!

Hmm, "those twins", lol, you mean the college educated set? :-laf

I am more curious to see what the whole package does on the street with a real clutch, I bet it will be a ride!

Here are the classes for Fall Brawl 2005!

STOCK- This class is limited as in the years past to the following mods, air intakes and aftermarket exhausts. NOTHING ELSE!. I am going to try and figure a way to make all the years competitive with each other as the newer common rail injection trucks have way more HP than the older rides. Those caught with other unapproved mods in this class will forfeit any chance of winning anything. Please be honest owners, this is a fun show and I'd like to keep it that way.

MODIFIED-This class is limited to a SINGLE turbo with NO PUMP CONVERSIONS(example:A 24 Valve single turbo truck with a P-Pump installed)and on #2 ONLY. The use of over the counter fuel additives is permitted but NO DRUGS(this includes meth injection and water misters). Aftermarket chargers, fueling boxes, injectors and pusher pumps are all legal. Owners who run single chargers and use drugs may compete as long as their bottle has been disconnected or removed, these owners will be asked to show they did this when they enter the dyno room.

COMPETITION-This class will allow any fuel pump combination(example:p-Pump conversions),any charger(twins included) or supercharger and run on #2 alone. Over the counter fuel additves permitted but NO DRUGS(this includes meth injection and water misters). Any injector, fueling box, aftermarket turbos(twins permitted) and pusher pumps are ok. Owners who have drugs may compete but must disconnect their bottles or tanks and will be asked to show this when they enter the dyno room.

UMLIMITED-Run What Ya Brung... This is the "Don't Bring A Knife To A Gunfight Class".

Any fuel, charger configuration any amount of drugs can be used here. The only rule here is the HOOD MUST close and latch tightly. This is for safety reasons as we have seen the aftermath of a head-gasket explosion with the hood open.
Hey Doug I was wondering if someone was running mixtures of, or straight Biodiesel, what class would they be in.

I really wanted to make it out this year to the Fall Brawl to see the Bombed trucks and dr00l over the HP and trq numbers. The weekend of the 15-16th is the last Race of the season for me at Summit Point Raceway though. :(

Alright i'm in, pretty sure anyway. I will be bringing tortilla chips and home made bean dip. look for my truck, check my sig for details

I'm gonna try and make it. Want to see what my truck will do in it's current condition.

Other than the dyno fees, are there any other costs ??

How do you get dyno time ?? Do you have to reserve it ahead of time, or just that morning ?

And since I am one of them single types, home cooked food is hard to come by.

Should I bring anything, or just some moolah to help out those who did ??

Never been to one of these things... so I am kinda in the dark... . unless it is just like Test-n-Tune at the dragstrip.

Anyone from SE VA going ?

I'd like to ask everything that TRCM asked... I'd mostly like to put some faces with the names on here, get a dyno baseline for my new ride, and get a few answers from someone that can stand right there at my truck while I ask my semi-retarded questions and point to the thingamabobs and doo-hickies... jeez, I sound like my old girlfriends...

TRCM,

No other fees other than dyno costs. As far as dyno time goes when you show up if you want to dyno just add your name to the list, we go in order signed up. All we ask is that your truck is warmed up and ready when its your turn. You can show up that morning with no problems, we start arriving around7:30-8:00.

If you have any questions please feel free to give me a call @ 717-557-7060

wheres your bet on the rhino's numbers jet pilot??? i think Will is pretty close, im thinking 6¼. that would be respectable for an experiment, that is if he gets his ECM fixed

I think brandon got his truck back yesterday, me and my buddy were out driving around checking out flooding (and doin a little playing in flood waters... :-laf ) when he called me, my phone was being stupid (freakin sprint takeover of nextel... ) , but I think Brandon said he got it back.
