Fan Cluch Wire Cut

While Going On Vacation To Fl. And Tn. The Wire Going To The Cooling Fan Cluch Was Cut Buy The Cooling Fan. This Wire Is Between The Radiator And The Cooling Fan . A Very Dum Place To Put It . Has Anyone Out There Had This Same Problem . like I Say This Happen Twice To Me. please Let Me Know.

I had that problem on my 04, took out the fan shroud as well. dc fix it under warrantee.

First time looking under the hood of my new truck I found some wires cut and the harness between the fan and the block. I took it in and they said that the harness was for the fan clutch and that they were on national back order. I had then take it off a truck in the lot and I was off.

About 6 months later I was doing a routine check for leaks with the engine hot and running and the fan was not turning at all. I shut it down and the harness has moved binding up the fan and not allowing it to turn. Now I check the fan about once a week to make sure it turns either freehand or with the engine running.
