Did any of you guys have trouble with the nut on the clutch being VERY tight?
I'm holding pulley with an 18" Pipe wrench.
Have a K&D clutch nut wrench with a torque wrench as additional leverage.
I'm turning Right/Clockwise to loosen it. It should be a left handed thread.
Can't budge it. Tried giving the wrench a few hits with a rubber mallet to break it loose.
When I was pulling with everything I had, I heard the torque wrench click. I was curious to what I had the wrench set at..... 120 ft lbs!
Dodge dealer replaced the clutch in 1996.
Service manual says torque should be 42 ft. lbs.
Any suggestions?
