Typically, if there is a lift and an unlimited supply of tools, what can I expect for install time? Also, is anyone running the stainless 1/2 line (150gph) that requires the tank to be drilled? To hook up the coolant lines to the fass yay or nay? (I'm assuming this acts as a fuel heater?)

Thanks!

install time is going to average 2-4hours depending on what year you have and the model of fass pump you have, and yes the lift and plentiful tools is a big help when working on these trucks!! have fun :-laf

When you've installed these, have you had success with the DPP instructions? I spoke with the guy I got the kit from, who does mostly Powerstroke installs, and they had to mount elsewhere to keep from taking the bed off.

What do you do with the intank pump and factory tubes? Leave it?

as far as the instructions, yes and no ---you have to be creative sometimes. on our trucks the bed is not hard to do. it is easier if you do take it off, depending on the fass model you should follow there reccomendations or excede them. :-laf

Leave you old stuff in the tank. Should the FASS fail all you'll have to do is swap a couple lines at the cp3 and reinstall the relay in the fuse box and back on the road again.

As for the coolant lines, I don't know too many people that have hooked them up... I was going to using some 3/8" SS brake line from Summit Racing, but then decided it wasn't worth it.
