Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) FASS pressure suddenly jumped from 16 to 22 psi

My early FASS 150 has been running a rock stable 15 - 16 psi since I bought it quite awhile ago, but suddenly yesterday it started showing 20 - 22 psi. I haven't noticed any change in sound coming from it, and I haven't messed with the spring or return line at all. I just replaced my gauge over the winter, so I'm confident I'm getting an accurate pressure reading.



Anybody have any ideas?

Check your fuel pressure gauge isolator first. A bad diaphram could be the culprit.
