Previous owner added both. Will I loose prime when I change it? It is between the tank & pump, total hose length is 2 feet.

Thanks

I have a RASP with a carter backup lp (for right now) and my fuel filter is on the suction side so I do not get "stuff" in the RASP or the backup lp pump. I've had it this way for several years. Just keep the filter clean (changed). Mine is a RACOR 690T (large) and I change it every 10k (maybe overkill, but works for me).

you wont loose prime if you change it fast... kidding when I had the crapy filter that came with my fass when I checked it or replaced it I just bumped the key and cycled the pump. since then I have went with the screen in-line filter that I can take apart clean and reuse from Vulcan Performance Home Page.
