Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) FASS question

I have a new FASS 95/95 0000, my planned use is towing and no racing. Do I need to get the draw tube, everything I read says yes and so it looks like the tank needs to be dropped. I haven't opened the box yet since I got it early this spring, wouldn't it have one already?

My Fass did not come with a draw tube. I just cut the stock line from the tank and hooked it up to the FASS with a piece of 3/8" hose. Works jus fine.

It is my understanding that if the truck has not had the replacement lift pump that goes in the tank installed, you are OK. My truck did not have this lift pump replacement, and the FASS went in, piece of cake. Very nice well made set up. I put the gauge in first, drove for a few days, then put the FASS in, what a change!

If you do not have the in-tank pump, you do not need the STK-1001. BUT... . i have seen some stock sending units cause issue every now and then. BUT the law of % is in your favor though. I would install as is, and see how it runs..... i bet you will no issue at all... .

SAME HERE-oem line feeding the pump. 1/2" line to motor. Install a gauge.
