A heck of a ride it was too  Those back scratchers are downright dangerous!!!!! I am up for another ride as soon as I can sit down again!!!!!!Oo.

Wow, hemi dart, you must have been raised on the concrete!! Out here in the country you never take you eye of a male animal of any type, be it a stud horse, bull, ram. They will all take you if your in their pen, and you turn your back!! Every stud horse I have been around will try and bite you, most rams will knock the heck out of you, and bulls, they ususally ain't very nice!!

Michael- farm boy, and proud to be one!

hey guys,

i had a tangle with my bull this afternoon on the farm. i got pined between the barn and him, that was one heck of a good time let me tell you. damn beef cows, thank god mine doesn't have horns. that could have sucked. well all he did was knock the wind out of me and mess up my knees. no big deal he got the pipe wrench to the head once i cwraled in to the barn and he wanted to come after me, stoped him dead in his tracks WHAMMMOO! and he stumbled away like a baby. well guys i have to get back to working on my transmission. tell we meet again... ... ...

I wanna see a bull with a passenger SEAT let alone an entire passenger side! I too LMAO at that passenger side comment.

Watched a bull make the driver side of a ford truck18 inches closer to the passenger side of the truck one time. . Damn big holstien a lil bigger than that one. Cow dogs do save lives.

Thumbs up on the dog idea Rhonda. Heelers and Aussies make good drivers. But border collies or bc/aussie crosses are all around tops. And they aren't near so onery. Okay, okay imho. :)

I know I know the dog that was out there at the time wasnt mine and is dumb as a box of rocks but itw was a bc/aussie/blue healer, as is my dog which was in the truck at the time well the truck was running. i was gonna go check on clafs in the back 40. ( i am in the sticks arent i?) my dog is a border collie/aussie/blue healer one damn smart dog. i want a sticker that says that "my border colle is smarter than your honor roll student. "

Any one want a truck i'll sell mine cheap! i got the transmission in after i rebuilt it and made it 15 mi. and it was smoked. i only had the PM3 on level 5 and i rodded on it 2 time from 0-60 why would it fail? i got a GB trick tripple and a sweet VB so i should be fine right? i think the pump went out other wise how else would it be junk in 15 mi. oh well back to the drawing board.

Heck - as far as I'm concerned... everything in life can relate to automotive terms.

I remember getting into an argument in a bar over whether a gal had an OEM or store bought chest... my point for the fact that they were OEM was: "The driver's side is a little smaller than the passenger's side... they gotta be real!"

Matt - "No offense. "

I believe the key word in that statement is "bar". There had to be alcohol involved :D

Matt,

No offense but why does it not suprise me that you had a conversation like that? any ways yea every thing does come down to our trucks doesnt it? well im off to bale hay

Yeah, but not as much as you'd think.

I tend to tip the talent more than I tip my glass/beer can when I'm in a bar like that. :-laf

If you don't tip the cocktail staff well - what's the worst that can happen? On the other hand - if you apply the excess gratuity that would normally go to the cocktail staff to the 'talent'... your ROI (Return On Investment) is much greater.

Andy: I have conversations like that all the time - I'm no expert... but I can usually spot non-OEM gals.

that pic is too funny, and half way true in some ways I think. Here is my pup(below). She is a little older now(7 months), and now I have a good run on Blue Healers anytime I want some pups they will breed them if she is in. They will be a cross between a Red and a Blue. :D

My heelers are a little on the mean side when working. They have been known to take an ear off a calf or two when rounding up cattle. But when you are rounding up rough stock you need a rough dog and they fit the bill. I just wish they would stay out from under my horses!!! I have yet to see a working heeler over 1 year old that has all its teeth  they never learn

They do when you put a zapper coller on them!!! :When your raising show cattle they have to have all their ears. :( :D

My dogs get equine broke by allowing them to be around when we are riding the mules. They never miss with a kick and always aim. The dogs just naturally assume that my horses can kick that well also and stay out of the way except for the wifes stupid Great Dane. That thing never fails to get loose whenever I'm breaking a green horse or mule for someone. Adds a little excitement thats for sure.

A quote from Smoke elsors book "Packing in with horses and mules" A mule will pick a spot like your belt buckle and won't rightly miss!!!! I have been at the wrong end of that senerio one too many times (I could not stand up straight for a week) My Morgan has a pretty good aim and gets real tired of dogs under his feet. I have two heelers with missing canines to prove it.
