There are 2 different types of high idle programs available for the automatic transmission vehicles. The one you guys are describing where after a set amount of time the engine automatically idles up to 1000rpm's, and a different one, where you can set the idle speed by using the cruise control feature and can be set from 1000 to 1500 rpm's if I recall correctly.
The automatic one that turns it up after a set amount of time to 1000 rpm's works on all trucks. The one that is not currently offered for the manual transmissions is the one that you can set yourself using the cruise control, and this is the one I want to find a way to enable ourselves or push DC for a TSB on so we can have it as well.
