NGM Diesel said:the only thing that stopped wade from going any faster was his serious valve float noise @ 3400+ rpm, stock springs are not good for high rpm and boost... .....
Luken said:I'm sure if it wasn't for the serious valve float or the stock springs, or the slipping transmission... . Wade would then have the most powerful, fastest common rail :-laf

ok this site's math looks accurate.
I put in my 295/70/17's. . 73 6th gear. and 3. 73. 3000rpm = 109.
I have seen 109 a few times on the ege thing. so I'm right. 3000rpm = 109 in my truck.
According this this, 127 at 3500rpm. so 125-ish at 3400.
NGM Diesel said:scarry considering your tires are only rated at 106 mph R rated, any one ran faster?
JasonCzerak said:Yep
That's why I'm considering a proper high speed upgrade process.
1. Replace these nitto's with 285 E's. reprogram ABS to match on stock rims. It's winter time, kinda... .
2. Purchase new and nice rims, aluminum rims, with a 33" equivalent street tire that's rated much higher speed wise. To fit on this new rims. I haven't a clue of what to get yet. Something sticky tho.It would be nice to hammer 3rd on a roll and not have any spin in 2wd.
3. And most important. UPGRADE THE BRAKE SYSTEM. Caliper, rotor and pad upgrade!!! These have to fit under the stock rims. I plan on keeping winter/summer setups.
4. Valve spring upgrade. Software that fixes this 108mph thing.
This plan makes most sense for safely doing over 108mph.
