I am in process of getting my Bigfoot camper spiffed up, and was faced with a somewhat oxidized and chalky finish - it is a fiberglass gel-coat camper.
I did some reading and tried the "Big 2" products that everyone raves about - Gel Gloss and Protect-All. I was unimpressed with the performance of either, may be great for an already shiny finish but didn't do doodly for oxidation.
Went to Wally World and picked up a bottle of 3M Marine Fiberglass Restorer / Wax, on the advice of another TDR member. It works like a champ, takes some elbow grease but puts a nice shine back on the finish that is noticeably better than the other two. If I get around to it I will post a picture showing "test areas" of the three products side-by-side so you can see what I mean.
Thought some of you with fiberglass rigs might find the info useful...
