Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Filter minder

When I install the BHAF filter, I'm assuming the filter minder comes off - right? Does losing the F/M hurt anything?

With a ghaf the filter mider will never work. I have k&n's on both my ctd and thay have never move. You would have to suck up a plastic bag or never clean them to get it to move.

You dont need it. I bet it never moves with the stock aircleaner. Mine wouldnt move till I started making 35lbs of boost and then it would peg it every time I went full throttle but never moved when everything was stock.
