I quit working at the end of 2022 and it has taken forever, it seems, to tack on the 18,000 miles I needed to cross the threshold. I finally did it on the way to Choke Canyon reservoir, not far from Corpus Christie. I'm pretty sure I won't see 1.6 million, Not because the truck won't do it, I'm not going to live that long.

Nice rig. I passed 100,000 miles on my '02 last year so I have a ways to go.

@GAmes, Great success with the achievement! Never say never, you can probably teach the yougin's a thing or two about fishing and life! Just shows if you take care of your rig, it'll take care of you! Enjoy the seat time, and safe travels!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow that's crazy!
What kind of work has the motor and transmission needed over the years?

A dozen NV4500s before I upgraded to a G56. 1st engine removed at 800k. second engine (from a wreck) removed nearly 100k later, 1st engine rebuilt and installed, removed 50k later because the rings didn't seat. Rebuilt '96 engine in it has 554k on it. I have a fresh rebuild sitting on the shop floor for when the current one starts using excessive oil.

Gary, I’ve looked and looked for that plate. I know I have it. I’ll probably find it six months from now…

Thanks for looking. I'm looking for a means to transform a 100,000 mile plate to a 500,000 mile plate.
