Greg I fixed your link. . . Shindle Engineering

I just called them and their offsets are the same as everyone else's so they will stick out too. It was a real PITA to call & get the information.

Scott1 they have 3 choices in dually 19. 5" wheels, and appear to be direct bolt-on. There was a 2002 Ram on a recent cover of the TDR Magazine with the Thunder II Dually

The styles are "Cheyenne 8" and "Dagger 8. " They are in a +45mm offset and are made specifically to fit the HD Rams INSIDE THE FENDERWELLS. They are one piece, forged wheels with a huge load rating designed specifically for your trucks. I've been warned that unless Weld gets some early orders, they're going to get discontinued. "

Saw this buried in another thread. Thought I'd post here to get the word out.

CSilkowski can you show me where you found the original thread? I just called Weld and the tech is clueless and says there is no such thing :(

T-Rex Engineering

I just talked to Kent at T-Rex and he will make a post soon about ordering details & pricing :) He's the one who's really gone on the offensive for everyone and gotten Weld to commit to making these wheels so hats off to Kent.

Those are sweet wheels XcumminsX but they don't have the proper offset either. Believe me I've spent endless hours searching the 'net to no avail. Boyd Coddington will do custom offsets and get you pretty close.

WOAH check this out

Nice looking wheel but I'd be concerned about the offset and backspace, especially given that its a 10" wheel.

Vaughn - Maybe Kent can work us up a group buy and get a TDR discount ;)

Probably wishful thinking

ok so if i bought those 10" wide wheels how far will it slick out past the body. . 1-2 inches out is ok for me... my fender flares are 2. 5" out and the mudflaps run even with them. .

Without knowing the wheel specs not positive, but 2. 5" flares should be enough.

XCummins a 10" wheel with say a typical 4. 5- 5" backspace will put them out about 2. 5" further than stock.

Briman and CSilkowski. . . Kent has been working hard on Weld. Since this isn't going to be a very big volume deal from Weld's point of view, Kent's done well to get pricing close to the same retail as their standard offset wheels of those models. A discount would be nice but he's done good to get them to even commit to it.

AndyMan I will have to call Billet Specialties and see what they say.

Vaughn

EDIT: I see Billet's website says 5. 625" for the 18x8" Hauler Series rims which isn't bad, not quite enough for me though. I like their Titan and Octane wheels though!!

whats the backspace?

is their a reason why weld is making the wheels 18'' and not 17''. so thats 500$ per wheel and 250$ per tire. way to much id buy the wheels if that was it not the tires too. IMO.

Anybody check out Stockton , rumor is that they can fab or alter just about anything . Not to sure what they do in alloy , have'nt looked at their site in a year or so.

xcx:

those wheels look way cool, but not enough backspacing. their 17x8" with 4. 5"bs will stick out 1. 5" more than the factory 17x8 wheels. i'd like a set of the black ones in 20x10, but they will stick out 3. 5" more than factory with 4. 5" bs avalable only. way too much in my opinion. now if they had 7" backspacing on them 20x10's, they'd only come out 1" more...

***edit***

i think i like these ones more eh... in 18x9. 5 but again, they need more backspacing than 4. 5" [and they can do it, there is a set of 5 spoke wheels there on their site for 5 lug with 7 1/8" backspacing, now if they can do it for the 8 lug guys]
