I have had the firestone airbags on prior trucks and they work, but there is a better way. On my 3500 I pulled the factory overload springs out and replaced them with a 4 spring pack. Loaded with the camper and gear,4600 lbs. in the bed,the truck handles great under all conditions that are drivable. When the truck is unloaded it maintains the factory ride because the overload springs come away from the frame stops. They also cost less than an airbag system and there is no leaks possible,in the lines or the bags. So far on this winter trip from Alaska to Key West to New Orleans the truck, with the camper and trailer we've logged over 13,000 miles and it works much better than airbags have in the past.
