Competition P-pump question

What are DHRA rules, how are they different from NHRA rules? Before everyone says read the rule book (not interested in reading a book that was wrote by a guy that doesn't even competitively race) , can you just tell me what you feel that Fletcher's truck wouldn't pass on.

Even though me and fletcher are really friends his truck is very fast, and shouldn't be taken lightly. Not to say that dennis truck isn't impressive cause it also fast. But why not for once have a race on the West. It seems that if any west coast guy runs something that is faster than the east, it's not official until we drive 3000miles to compete. Look at the horsepower war last year between the east vs. west, Opie drove all the way over to Muncie won the show then, everyone said well this guy didn't come and this guys truck was broken.

One things for sure it would be entertaining to listen to the loser of the race afterwards.

Hey Dennis I drove all the way to Texas to give you a shot at whooping my ***** and you didn't show  If I can drive that far to race (and win) why could you not show up and beat me? I am pretty sure I had a longer drive than you to get there so now it is your turn to come play in my yard!!!!! :-laf I'll be here waitin on ya

(throwing water on the crowd)

Come on guys - tone it down.

HOSS,

I will be racing in Texas in November with the DHRA finals. If the time in your sig is correct you better get to work. To be honest you just jumped into the wrong league, I believe with the kind of times you run you would be a better candidate for the Street Diesel class :-laf ? Wouldn't you agree??

I don't care how long of a drive you had, It was your choice to go to Texas.

Steve,

Just having fun, I don't think anyone is really getting mad.

And if that's how fast your tub goes, you need to start buying your parts from a real speed shop. Were just having fun as well :-laf :-laf :-laf

Good luck in your race series this year, If you guys get the chance, we would welcome you up here September 5th, (the weather's good )

Hey Fletch, then I can expect you guys to make it down to my race in Atlanta September 10th. ;) Come on... . it's only a few days ride. :-laf

All in fun of course. I just wish I was retired and wealthy and I'd make them all.

Yo, Scottish brother.

I'm not sure if I have the funds for fuel to take such a long trip. If I took a long trip, I would be honored to attend your premium, top-class Atlanta race (September 10th)

I've been having my Mother work extra overtime at the cement company, when my TV program is over, I'll get off the couch and see how much money's left in her checking account. Stay turned; I just might be able to make it… :-laf

I am in the street diesel class :D and you should know better than to believe everything you read :-laf

You know Mark, that is very true. We get Jeff's race truck back Wednesday to get ready for Dennis' race in Bowling Green. Can you believe the little white truck stripped, and outfitted with a steel body, fenders , and a short, short bed. Might be able to make it back to Texas. I hope. Maybe Fletch can come down with you>>>? We can run the same times with 980HP. Whatdoyathink?

Hoss, I checked it out, It's that goofy white truck w/ the Walmart flames, LOL ! :-laf I talked w/one of his guys, he said w/o the bottle (s) it goes back to a 12. 5 truck. Or another comparison; 3/4's of a second slower then Rhonda's truck. Now, that would be a good race..... Oo. Oo. Oo.

Preston,

I am looking forward to seeing you and the rest of the Garmon boys Jeff, David ect. . I am going to do everything I can to make it back down again this year and I hope to bring Fletcher with me. Who knows maybe we will bring all three trucks down :D

dhra? what that?

As far as I know NHRDA is a NHRA sanctioned organization. What "other" rules are there?

You "East Coast" Guys race in reverse or something? Or is it mandatory that you have a blow up doll in the pass. seat? Why would My truck "not a fast truck but im still from the WEST coast" not be able to compeate in the dhra?

Opinions are like (insert bad word here) everyone has one and they all stink :-laf I personally do not have any problems with any organization or brand (of truck or person) I just wanna race and enjoy it

Ya all have a nice day now ya hear :D

NHRDA = we finally have a well coordinated Race Organization committed to the Racers and it's ran by an experienced promoter, Thanks Randy!
