I am impressed with the new found power my truck now has. Currently driving on setting 2 of 3 and have noticed quite an improvement in power. I think I will try 3 after work. Have to get rid of some frustration before I return home to my beautiful family.

TCrawley. I'm glad Your Edge EZ is working well for You and that You like it. I'm still debating what to do with my '03, HO. I noticed You are from Essex, Ontario. I spent some time up in Your area during Canada Day. Had a great time. Ontario sure has some beautiful areas. I was up in Wasaga Beech, the Toronto area, Chatham, etc. Have an Aunt (Dorothy Fihn) and Cousin (Michael Fihn), living in Essex. Well, I hope You have good luck with Your EZ. They have been around for quite awhile and seem to be very reliable. Take Care. Joe Fihn (Buffalo).

Edge EZ Great on 03 HO

Buffalo:

My wife's rig achieved 349 HP on dyno w/ EZ, Aeroturbine muffler and AFE Mega Cannon. EZ adds 70 HP and 150 ft lbs tq. Changes power curve and really make the bottom end strong.

You can't go wrong w/ it.

Edge EZ

Nice to see the comments. I too went with an Edge EZ on my '04. Love the added performance. Want to do other mods that are mild and can accompany one another.

I agree... ... . I was able to extract 336 Horsepower and 665 pound-feet of Torque this past October; mileage on the truck is just now 21,3xx miles. Throttle takes a little while to adjust to, and power is great. If you can get over the novelty of the EDGE after a few miles, you will see better mpg's.

Egt?

What altitude are you guys at and are you having EGT problems? Reason for asking, I as well as others live at 6000ft+ and experience has taught us that if we fuel at all at this altitude, egt goes off the wall. Larger turbos usually cure the problem, but then you need a boost fooler of some type, and the games begin. We mostly tow 5th wheels, no hot rodding/racing. Let's hear your atmospheric situations. I play in those neighborhoods often- My 20' enclosed race trailer weighs in close to 8500 with car and tools/spares. I run all of 40, up 550 to Farmington and up to SW UT from Gallup almost all of this is 6000+ ft. I have my EZ on 4 and an AFE drop in with some holes in the airbox- the only time I can see 1300 is if I downshift and carry sustained RPM's above 2700.

Good luck!

I tow heavy, different truck

I tow a 17K lb w/ my 3500 and I've towed it in Arizona, Nevada and Virginia. I have to turn down the TST PM3 Adjustable computer on it and some long 7% grades will find me running at 40 mph, egts on 1200 and water temp around 215'. I just watch the gauges.

Not exactly the same as an EZ in that I can completely stop or adjust extra fueling.

I've towed only 10lbs with our 03 2500 and didn't have problems with it.

Just installed th EZ in my 03 and there sure is a lot of engine noise (rattle) and rough idle. Is this normal or is something wrong here.

Thanks
