First DTT transmission service ???'s...

This Sunday, I will be changing the transmission fluid in my DTT equipped truck that I just bought. Since this is my first auto, can someone post instructions for draining the t/c and valve body, filter change, & band adjustment.

Do I even need to adjust the bands if it is shifting fine???

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks! :)

This truck rocks!!!! Oo. Oo. I am happy to have converted from a 24v to a 12v... . :D :D

DEZLPWR - You might be well served to go and see Bill and let him put in his new servo upgrade stuff and have the trannie serviced in the process. I went that route a few months ago and I can really tell the difference. Regards, Lynn

This is the first I've heard of a servo upgrade. Can you tell me more? Thanks

Servo Upgrade

Bill has designed and built (and maybe patented) an aluminum servo upgrade to replace the plastic one in the transmission. It has two rubber oil rings and doesn't let any oil slip past. My shifting is smoother and positive and I feel a more solid shift. You really need to talk to Bill or Stephon to get the real scoop. His website is Dieseltrans.com, I think, and he answers questions you might have. He is really easy to talk to so give him a call. Regards, Lynn.

(I have no connections with Bill and his crew except that I am a satisfied customer of his. )
