OH, the PDR 1st Gen Day was and is a dedicated 1st Gen Day.

Anyone who a attended was welcome but the day was specifically for us old time truck guys.....

About two years ago, I mentioned it would be good to have a little get together, kinda like you're all discussing right here.....

Well, Piers heard about it and told me that he would open up the shop and the hoist for a full day for any 1st Genners who wanted to show up.

On the first event... . January of '03 I believe it was, we had cold damp cloudy weather...

We also had a good turn out and in the process we did some tuning and KDP's... we also went thru about 4 or 5 turkeys in the deep fryer too... what a hoot ... .

Piers made it clear that he was not wanting any $$$ he just wanted us to have a place to get together and hang out... so we did.



Last fall, we had the second PDR 1st Gen Day. It was great !!!!

The weather was awesome...

We did a backup rodeo, some show 'N shine, dyno and parts installing, we had some trophy's to give away... . I think Stomp got the "junk yard dog" trophy... all in fun mind you. .

So, that's kinda how this all got started and it's kinda gotten bigger and more each time as we learn what works and so forth.

Oh BTW, I would luv to attend this get together but the distance is just TOO much to overcome for me... . I'd really like to meet Scott, Jeremy, Philip and you guys... . afterall, it's all the same parish, right
