Well guys, I found the point at which our engines don't go past, and unfortunatly I went there. I just got in from plowing snow the past three days, and I know that I have been working my truck harder then ever, and everything seemed to be going ok minus my clutch and front leaf springs. When I popped the hood for the old post general inspection, I found oil seeping out of the no. 1 exhaust port :-{} Not good for the home team. I am currently thinking that I broke a ring, the odd thing is it really doesn't run any different, and I don't have the blue smoke that I would associate with a broken ring or holed-out piston. It isn't knocking or missing, and still sounds like normal.
My first step is going to be pulling the head to see what happened in there, and see what is salvagable. If any one is interested, I will take pictures and you can post them.
In the event that I have to pull the engine, I was wondering... who has figured out how to mount a hydro-boost set-up... . (Drivers Mopar????) because if I rebuild the engine, I may just sneak an inline on there
