Just got back from my first trip to Idaho, Whitetail hunting. Hunt ended early for me about 2 hours into our first day. A little 4x3. The rut was on at least for this buck as he had a doe he was sniffing around. Don't think I'll ever eat a Mulie again after having Whitetail. View attachment 74019

Blacktail are yummy, too... . just little.

Soak the meat in milk overnight before cooking it up. Takes that iron taste out of it.
