I'm in the middle of a 4200 mile trip and have a few observations. This is my first Dodge, and first diesel. 1700 miles when I left. Now 3800.

1. I do not have the problem with the tank not filling on the first click off of the nozzle. I ran the tank down on purpose to gauge how much I have left with the needle between 1/8-E. I put 30. 5 gals in at the first click off. If you add the 10% that the manual says is a reserve, and add approx 2 gal for the gauge not on empty, you are at 35gal. I am able to fill the tank without the "squeeze it in method. My truck was built late May, so maybe they changed the vent tube?

2. I get a vibration in the steering wheel when I turn on the A/C. Tried and duplicated the buzz when the A/C is switched on/off.

3. Mileage was 18. 2 overall. Mileage decreased with tach numbers over 2100. I ran 77-78 with speed limits of 75 and 72 with speed limits of 70. A/C was on most of the time.

4. Seats are a little firm for 19 hrs in the saddle. I hope they break in a bit.

5. Headlights are an issue. Someone made the observation that they do not project down the road. I think this is right on. They light up the road, but just not far enough down the road.

6. A/C is so-so around town, but once on the road, it will turn the cab into a freezer in no time. I couldn't run it on recirc, froze me out. In addition to the buzz in the steering wheel, the compressor is noisy.

Overall, I'm very impressed with this truck.
