My dad has a 95 12valve 5spd, and the truck needs injectors, so this is where I will start, but can a stock turbo handle 140hp injectors and with high flow laser cut delivery valves? The truck is a daily driver, and it is used for a lot of towing.

You would probably be better off with 215 injectors, a different plate, and a 3k gsk. You might be able to get away with 140 injectors, but since you tow you wouldnt want lazer cuts.

I have a set of 215s if you are interested PM me. With a 10 plate, 3k gsk, 215 injectors and 191 dvs the truck will be a good performance/towing setup.

175 are stock

as to your fuel level theres no way a stock turbo will hold it will blow up real soon.

140 horse injectors are way too much for that. your talking serious fuel and big turbos making 600+horse for that injector.

like mentioned above a set of 215's a 3k gsk and a modded fuel plate would be a much better idea especilly if towing a lot.

have you taken care of the KDP yet? and, don't forget to get some guages in there so you know how the upgrades effect your performance. just a friendly reminder about practical stuff :D

What is the KDP (killer dowel pin or something)? Yes, I would never hop up a vehicle without gauges!! I don't know that much about diesels, I've only been into modifying them for a few months now, but it is way more fun than turbo gassers (more expensive too). I will have to talk to my dad and see what exactly does he want from the truck, obviously the clutch and turbo will have to be upgraded if he wants a big power gain and still be able to tow with the truck. It'll probably be awhile now, he just went and blew his cash on a quad with a snowplow yesterday.

I have a similar setup as that especially since I have your 175 pump in my truck, I have stock turbo, 215's, 191 dv's, 3k gsk, and a #10 all the way back. It is a good setup and egt's are almost a non issue and i tow all the time.

hopping up '95

I don't know much about delivery valves but a #10 plate sounds the best no matter which truck you have. The older trucks 94&95 benefit more from the 3kgsk. I would make sure to install a boost elbow. More airflow on the intake and exhaust helps a bit. Instead of 215's you could probably try some ddp 75 hp injectors from pdr they are only $20 more than 215's. Keep timing around 14. 5-15. 5 deg. and boost under 35psi and egts under 1200. This will save you from having too much trouble. Check the overflow valve and lift pump for proper operation. The fuel lines as well as the prefilter should also be check as they are prone to suck air or leak.
