First Post Introduction

Greetings fellow Cummins owner –

I wanted to first give thanks for all the knowledgeable people on the forum, this site is very helpful in many ways. I have been a member for well over a year and this is my first post. Purchases were made simply by reading this forum. I’m no an expert on diesel engines, or autos but I do a lot of reading and have affiliation with some very helpful contacts. Again I just wanted to introduce myself and join in the fun.

Thanks for the welcome, I feel like I have known “YALL” for a long time, since I have been here reading this forum, well over a year now. My wife just shakes her head and walks to the movie room up stairs, when she notices laptop in my hand. No more :-{}



Oil I use, well I decided to go with AMSOL good reviews and dealer status was pretty enticing. I thought why not since I have affiliation with other auto parts and electronics. Fuel gauge works correctly, I think may be you can shed some light, I have to keep inserting this green hose in the side of the truck to reset it back to F, and it normally cost me $80. 00 each reset, twice a week. :--)

Ford owning Cummins about the same as me buying stock in Walmart. I may buy stock in Walmart to make a few dollars in the stock market, but that gives me NO right to say I own them



As for as trannys I’m not to that point to make a definitive answer but I here nothing but good things on ATS trannys so if I had to do something today and I had the extra cash to do so I would go ATS.

Thats correct Boomer, I spend a lot of time in the Lewsiville, Grapevine, Flowermound area we may have crossed paths many times. . I normally refuel in the Lewisville area. If you see White SWR one ton stop and say "hi" I'm pretty friendly.
