Finally got a chance to make a pull running B100. Neighbor came by and asked me if I could move his 5er for him his buddy broke down and could not do it. He has a Wilderness triple slide looked to be about 35ft or longer. The sticker inside said dry weight was 12k. Him and his wife are full time so throw in all their stuff and whatever was in the waste tanks. Let's just say 12. 5k for the sake of argument.
In all honesty I did not know what to expect being that B100 has less BTU's than #2 and there is a loss of power due to that. I noticed no difference at all, there were no big hills just the typical you find on the freeway. Truck ran like it was not back there, I could accelerate with ease. I did not see any noticeable drop in EGT's not sure if i would or not. I did notice that was virtually no smoke at all if there was it was so faint I did not see it.
Overall I was very impressed with the way the I could pull that thing and the weight is about the same as my 5er so I know now how well I can pull mine.
