First time post and question about air ride and quality of ride on 2019 3500.

I would go to a scale and get accurate axle weights before you air down. Don't trust that 2800 number umless the scale proves it out. CAT scales are everywhere, and are cheap. Why gamble?

The truck has a list of really great options it includes all the best safety stuff plus a 4.10 rear end to boot.
The wife would rather have the WASHER AND DRYER then the sunroof but I did drive a 4.10 equipped dually about a month ago and it did shift a bit jerky but with a trailer it should be much better.
It does not have the air ride but it makes it up the the safety stuff AND OF COURSE THE AISIN Transmission.
I was told the 4.10 with the Aisin is almost in stock form BULLETPROOF with the 1000 foot pounds of torque and should handle my 14000 pound unit like cake.

Run fronts at 80 ALL the time!!! Rears solo 35 and FULL RAWR 65psi. Lighter load adjust per load/inflation table for your tires.

Hey Ron,

How's backing that with both trailers?

Sharp turns with 2nd trailer, any problems with cycle trailer contacting 5er?

Do you drop MC trailer when arriving at RV parks?

Any problems going through other states?

Any advice/strategies you recommend towing double?

Just thinking about double towing with our golf cart, but leary of it after $2K in damage to RV when turning around.

MC trailer tracks outside of RV when turning. I font even try to back up!!! If needed I can crank up and wheel MC trailer away.

Illegal in WA and OR but I have done so three times now back and forth. Being SD licensed may have helped who knows. Saved 3k in MC transport fees so far.

I do remove roof access ladder as I have bumped it with MC trailer.

Honestly tows no different. I just stick to the truckstops and rest areas when traveling.

It has like 600 pounds more payload then the crew-cab six four bed limited but this truck has a eight foot bed????

Because it’s a long bed and has a 500 lb higher GVWR, and the added wheelbase puts more cab weight on the front axle. It shouldn’t thou have 600lbs more, likely some options were different on the ones used for base weights.

The long bed will have slightly more rear axle payload available, but not enough to make loading of the 377RLBH a non issue. It will still take very carful loading and multiple trips to the scale.

It seems you really don’t want a dually, so I suggest you decide what’s more important. The truck or the trailer, and change the opposite to match.

As you know we are always happy to help you, but pull out your RV manual that has info SPECIFIC to your RV. It's easier explaining to you when you have a book with pictures to help better understand.

Go to the battery compartment and tell us what you have. You likely NEED to water your batteries ASAP if you haven't serviced them yet.
