The trans is not that heavy get under there and pull it. I'd say that it can be done in 4 hrs if every thing went good but how likly is that.

Hey, I've gotten lucky before :-laf I can do valve adjustments pretty well now.

I used a floorjack and ratchet strap for a transmission jack. I aint strong enough to lift the Getrag up into where it's supposed to go while lying on my back. Need to hit the gym, I guess. While you're in there, I'd replace the rear main, unless it was COMPLETELY dry all around it. If you were closer, I'd do it for you for less than a shop, and I promise to have it back to you within a month... .

I would have done it myself last year, however I just had C4 and C5 fused and I still have a bad rotator cuff.

C4 and C5 fused sounds like puting 2 fords transmission together does the roter cuff go the pump
