Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I just installed flip up mirrors on my 98 & love them.
I did screw up though & thought I share so maybe someone else could avoid my mistake. The directions say to make two rounds tightening the bolts to 40 inch lbs, top, front & then the rear. Being the type of guy I am I made 3 or four rounds to be sure & they kept taking up some. I didn't realize until I tried to roll the windows up I was crushing the inner door panel to the point that it pinched the glass when I tried to roll it up.
The directions say two rounds for a reason!
