I have 2 bottle jacks, There cheap enough,
Easier to lift both sides and not have to swap the jack around.
The one 12 ton jack stays in truck ( El Cr*po jack is in garage, somewhere )
Also a 4 set jack stand kit ( not the best but not junk)
1 stand goes under each axle and 2 under the frame... .
Not much more work to jack and place stands in 1 operation than do the tire swap... Actually a little easier than the 1 jack method... .
Yes , 4 stands may be overkill,, ???
I to have scared the brown into my shorts, too many times
( remember doing brake jobs with a bumper jack ?)
Than there was the local who got is finger pinched between the springs when the jack kicked out. Cold weather,freezing, He had to cut his own finger off with a pliers.
That made me a believer...
