Don M starts with 100% new, blank nozzles as well for all his EDM tips, but he won’t say where he gets his.

I agree, AK RAM, I think Don starts with a virgin hole-less tip and a different material as well... . How else can you make a 16 hole tip??? :-laf

It is dangerous to EDM a devirginized tip. The chance of tip failure is very high.

(As was told to me by an experianced EDM'er)

A long while back, there was alot of heated dicussion about oil, and the proper ratings, different brand, weight of the oil, etc. Just the same as trannsmission threads. Ahh, the good 'ole days, LOL.



Anyway, Don felt very strongly about certain aspects of oil, while others did not. Long story short, Don got TDR's size 11 in his bum...

who has used these KermaTDI nozzles on an 05 ram?



8 holes versus 5 holes sounds good

I use them on the 04. 5. Probably the same application. I've only had them a couple weeks but they are as advertised. Very smooth power application. You can turn your boxes down,... I did. I haven't driven enough to say anything on fuel economy yet. I haven't been to a dyno but when I do it's not going to tell me much as I have added several bombs lately so I won't be able to tell the standalone difference in increase that is attributable to the injectors. Yes they are 8 holes, which is like the flux injectors that are in Beta testing. Amazing thing,... . half a world apart and they both (Bosio and Don M) both come up with the same parameter of 8 holes for their EDMs. Hmmmm! They are rated at 45hp but it feels much stronger when you apply power from both the TST twins and EZ.

Don hasn't released the 04. 5 and up injectors yet so to say his are 8 holes is wrong. I doubt he will use 8 holes actually. The 03-04's use 8 holes and the 04. 5 and up use 5 holes with a much different spray pattern (3 shots of fuel vs. 2).

Perhaps I had bad info but you know how a friend of a friend goes. Supposedly a Beta tester for his 04. 5 EDMs made that statement and I simply passed it on and it does frankly seem to be in concert with what I have read about his EDMs in general. If I'm wrong you have my humble apology for misleading anyone.
