I have a set of Rigid Dually lights in hand to go on the rear for backup and work lights. But just haven't had the time to cobble them on there yet. With the help of some knowledgeable folks here on the board, I have decided how I am going to wire them up.

I cannot use the receiver mount since I tow often and need access to get to the safety chains, etc. I will have to fab up some hangers. Plan to make them out of aluminum bar stock.

Here are the floods I bought: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006H33ZEC?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage

I like the other set they show that is similar but the problem we have is our hitch is 2.5" not 2" and I haven't found one like it for the class V hitches.

Thanks for the replies.
They are sure a lot cheaper on Amazon than at 4Wheel Parts Warehouse !

Or added behind the grill Fog Lamps by Rigid ? I think they are kind of over priced but you get what you pay for.

I humbly suggest that you do some research on what a fog light is. Far too many people are using the Rigid "floodlights" as fog lights, defeating their purpose and generally ******* off oncoming traffic. A properly aimed fog light illuminates the sides of the road and the area immediately in front of the vehicle, without blinding oncoming traffic. Floodlights, not so much.

I know the difference between a Fog Lamp and a Flood Lamp/Work Lamp. Excuse Me I have to much Blood in my Caffeine System today.
I should have said Or added behind the grill Driving Lamps by Rigid ?

No worries :). I'm just a little sensitive about the subject. Tired of being blinded by high school kids in lifted trucks and Jeeps who don't know the difference.

Me too! I would love to have a pair of Aircraft landing lights that I could turn on and aim at them, when these local pukes in the rice burners come up on you with enough lights to light the Rose Bowl turned on full bore. #@$%! And you can hear their boom box ghetto blasters three blocks away.

I had standard lights previously on my truck. The old lights had about a 4amp draw each. The new led's are 2-3 times as bright with 1amp draw each. Right now I have 8 aftermarket Kawell lights. Thought about expensive lights. If stolen or broken I'd be upset. I paid about $14 each for the led's. At the time I installed switches in the cab. Today I'd probably install one of the remote control switches with no wires going through the firewall.

Here's a 27second Youtube video of my lights. I have some upcoming changes. Just installed an ARB front bumper. I'm also going to add some more front lights.

Granted, I'm a little off subject but when I started having TIPM issues with my 2006 and it's fog lamps, I re-wired straight to the batteries and used a relay. Satisfied with this arrangement, I later bought a pair of Hella 550's, mounted them on my Ranch-Hand Grill Guard, and again built a harness with a relay. Everything works great; switches on the dash give me independent control over the auxiliary lights, which may or may not be legal depending on state regulations; and now I can see some distance down the highway. For my application, bypassing that TIPM was critical.

I sort of like that bracket for mounting the Flood/Work Lights, But your right about it getting in the way with hooking up safety chains. I guess I will put them on the rear Bumper like I did on my Ford. I think I will wait for a bit before I get them I can always take the ones on my Ford off before it goes to the salvage pool. Also that bracket is not worth $90.00 plus shipping. I can re-use the brackets I already have.
