Foglamp Lenses Cracked Up (they're not laughing)

This am while changing oil I notice BOTH of my foglamp lenses are criss-crossed with cracks! I don't see any evidence of anything hitting them (no rock dings or scratches) so I'm a little mystified. Anyone else have this happen or hear about something like this? I am going to take it to the dealer and see if they'll warranty them. The lenses look kinda thin and cheap, but look much nicer than the older versions IMO.

Perhaps when you were washing your truck on a hot day, the cold water from the hose caused them to crack... That same thing happened to windshield on my friend's car.

I've replaced lots of cracked fog lamps of different types and still don't know what makes them crack up but I suspect that it has some thing to do with heat. Walking thru a shopping mall parking lot I noticed some cracked fog lites on a car and it got me to looking harder,seemed like over 75% of the fog lites I passed by were cracked. I put on some projector style fog lights on my Ram four years ago and they are holding up just fine. The lens on the projector type are over a inch thick,look&work great.

It could be vandalism, but if some kids were messing with my truck, you would think they'd totally bash the lights out. Going to stop by the dealer tomorrow and see what they say.
