A few video clips of 4x4 carnage at Easter Jeep Safari in Moab Utah!

No excuse necessary - Saddam was a (relative) moderate towards the Christians in Iraq. He allowed them to exist, and have churches, and worship their way. Compare that to Iran, or Saudi Arabia.

And waiting to thump any country that gets 'out of line' is dictatorship, not democracy. We can't be the world's daddy - unless we want troops in a LOT more countries than now. That's the kind of Imperialistic colonialism that the Brits got out of about 50 years ago - and that every Muslim in the Middle East is already accusing us of.

Are we really prepared to invade Syria, Iran, North Korea, and others? After all, I thought all those Clinton Administration cuts in the military left it unable to fight wars?

Yea, he's a real pal! Letting them "exist".

Hey, 'existence' beats the situation in most of the other Muslim countries! Remember the Taliban? They were so against other religions that they blew up ancient Buddhist statues. Saudi Arabia and Iran outlaw Bibles. I wouldn't be surprised if other countries in the region are the same. Saddam's Iraq usually walked a pretty interesting line as regards religions - they suppressed the Shiites (and it sounds as though we'll have to suppress them ourselves) and Kurds, but was pretty mellow about the Christians - maybe they weren't considered a threat to his regime? I dunno.
