F8LDOSE, If I knew you were coming I might just have to beg, borrow, and steal so I could attend. :D Nothing like a West coast East coast matchup on the dyno.

i'm not wrecking anything for anyone it's everyone's individual decision u know i idon't influence anyone i'm just saying how i feel is all sorry if that's not the way you or someone else feels... ... ... i am only able to control one person's actions and those are mine..... i'm just glad i got a heads up is all... ... so i passed it along i'm not trying to wreck anything and i seriously doubt that i alone with a post about some competition would or even could wreck it... ... i'm just a little guy in a big world of truck performance... ... and i know that for a fact... ..... so i'm sorry if you feel that my intensions are to hijack the event that's not what i had in mind at all and i actually think that u would know that i wouldn't do that to u guys i mean u know how i am and u know i'm not out to hurt, destroy, or take away from anything... ... ..... i'm really kinda surprised u feel that way to be honest... ..... but u have your opinion just like everyone else so i can respect it... i just say i'm sorry to hear it, i would never do anything deliberately to ruin anything and i think u guys know that... ..... and if not then i don't know what to say... ... ... happy dynoing for all and good luck

maybe both why i'm just trying to say the fact is that i don't have control of anything then myself if i choose something or not it is my decision and nobody else has to even agree with it if they don't... ... that's the beauty of it... ..... that's why it's my decision..... and i'm not trying to convince anyone of anything or persuade anybody..... so if you don't agree with my choice then that's great u don't have to... . just like i don't have to either. .

and i'm not starting anything i just repeated what was said to me is all... . If anything i at least have the guts to say it out in the open and not be all secretive or whatever... ... just repeating what was said to me... . and if i were really out to ruin an event i wouldn't have given them 7500 dollars 3 months ago i mean come on that's crazy... ... .

I have wrestled with the dyno classes issue at May Madness. It is hard to be fair and yet reward those who work very hard on their trucks. I have separated them by single vs. twin turbos, #2 only vs. "additives" in the past. I recognize that one can get really radical with the 24 valves and especially the 12 valves, leaving the VE and CP3 pumped trucks behind. One question is "how many classes should we have?" There is no simple answer, except to come and have fun.

Hey, Moolie,

It’s part of just having fun, getting to know your peers (great networking opportunity) and just part of paying your dues. For instance, last year, the very same person traveled out to the NW Nationals knowing he would have to race against a much quicker, cougar like reflexes, hotter then a two dollar pistol, higher speed, blistering, faster truck. Well, he did and the results were what he expected. Now, this year, he’ll travel back out w/ a lighter truck and the results will once again be favorable for Ernie (my truck) Now, keep in mind, he likes to follow my truck down the track, so, he’s having fun :p

THE FORD GUY Oo. Oo. Oo.

i don't know about different classes or what not i know he has a nice rig and he should definitly be allowed to dominate with it... ... that's what he does best from the little bit that i've seen... ..... and i'm not suggesting anything of the sort i think it's great that a guy has put that much time effort and cash into something and if he has the opportunity to win some back that's awesome and he deserves it... ... No doubt in my mind at all... ... it's the guys like him who made it so much easier for the newer group of people through his hard times as well as many other folks who put in their dues and pass along their wisdom it makes it a ton easier for the new guys and that's greatly appreciated by me. I always listen to different folks talk about differnt setups and i try to get something out of everyone that Ihear as far as an idea or a definite no-no... ... ... i just saw this thread getting to be something that it wasn't intended at all... ... . a ******* match over some rumor... ..... I mean if u guys did a ton of work on the rig he needs to be there that alone would be a maketing tool that cannot possibly be wasted... ... I hope he goes and breaks his own record if he shows up that'd be awesome to see... ... that's the truck originally that made me wanna get a diesel when i saw that 11 second with the 35's... ... I just know when i'm overmatched and i'm not ashamed to admit it... ... I am just learning little by little as i go..... and i just hope that one day i can be able to get anywhere close to those numbers but i'm not gonna be disappointed if i never do either... ... .

those are from the beginning of august since i bought it and then as a matter of fact we went and opened up that new dyno in greeley colorado just today and it's a load type dyno similar to the ats dyno... . where u can stack much load or whatever and the numbers are significantlly lower then a dynojet... ... ..... but i still was like 550 and they didn't have the hang of her yet i mean they were dynoing in second gear with the od locked out and going like 70 mph maxing the rev govenor of 3400 and keeping it there for a while never really have seen that kind of a stunt before... ..... but i was trying to hurry and get this ts powerfool 2 stage nitrous kit installed by the dyno day it's a 250 kit but i figure i only have fuel to power about 150, or so i've been told by a few people... ... ... ... . i mean i know they dyno'd it and it was wacky i mean it was a sad sight i wasn't sure if they needed to read instructions or what... ... . got it video taped again and we thought this guys dtt bit the dust but he's got an issue with a 3rd gear drum and it leaking through the vent under heavy load... ... However at the time of the incident we were sure it was broken and i was like oh no dtt down for the count (want me to tow u home) I was skeptical of getting on it when i saw how they handled his runs... ..... but he said i had to since we went there and he had his truck break down so he thought... and i must say i was a bit nervous we got it to like 1700 degrees and the most that guy could get was like 550 and like 917 or something, then on the same settings he couldn't even get it to register at all for the next 3 tries... ... after he rode it hard i was just like ok that's fine that's good i'm happy with the one i got... ..... not really but i didn't want him to grenade my vehicle so i'm trying to send this video out to this guy but it's an 82 mb file and i heard some places let u send that big for free but i've been using that yousendit.com for the last 3 hours and it didn't send a god damn thing... ... ..... slow as hell... ..... give me an email and i'll send u the last one i did on the local dynojet if you want too.

Jason, I think we should keep (old Muncie) in our sights, if I have to choose that will be the one event I'll make this year.

Jim

Moolie,

Load dynos can break things. above 700hp it's anybody's game. All it takes is a couple of guys having a bad day or breaking to put a fell in the money if he's even in the right league.

My high hp dodge isn't due on the streets for a couple months but it'll probably be in the 6xx range not 700+.

FWIW,

Mark

700 is still an uncommon number. For that matter 600's are still rare on daily drivers from what I see.

Jim - let's list the 700+ club on #2 only uncorrected.

I have Darren Morrison at 754

I have Matt Stuckey at 737

Rick Wallace was at 710 but 660 last time up.

I know you and Richard are there or better. Joe D. still there? Who else?

Joe..... Who knows on uncorrected

Richard..... 750#2 uncorrected or not much... ... ... Piers's event fall 04"

Me... ... 745#2 uncorrected D/FW dyno days last October

Jason... . F8LDOSE is right there with me too.

Big numbers are a little hard to come by when you take them down to below 500 ft as we both know, At M/M I actually only did 699 on #2.
