Wow. "Raw" fuel plus additives were mostly pretty dismal, or neutral.
... . I wonder, however, a couple of things: consistency of pump-fuel's additive doses, and whether the off-the-shelf additives do, or do not, give similar reductions (or increases! :shock: ) in testing-wear, compared to the raw fuel testing.
In pharmacy, sometimes we see additive drug interactions that could be described as 1+1=3, or interfering interactions where 1-1=less than zero.
Could some of the same apply to possible interactions between refinery-added additives plus owner-added additives? Might be worth another series of samples, but this time using 3-4 brands of commonly available "pump" fuels.
