oil change required light on approx. every 2k dealer has confirmed it is not a glitch that the oil was toast. At this time my truck has 13k on it. The dealer I bought the truck from gives free oil changes for life. Pretty cool! But I like amsoil products and I'll be __ __ if I am going to put amsoil in something that ruins the oil so quickly. The check engine light practically stays on. When I carry it in for an oilchange the dealer pulls the codes and tells me the chrysler rep wii get back with a flash to fix it. Every time iI go in I get the codes pulled and erased, drive off and within an hour or so the cel comes on again. Thursday 1-17 last week I took it in to get the usual oilchange codes pulled etc. and this time it had 3 stored and 1 active same thing the dealer does not know what is wrong and the rep will be here on Tuesdayad 1-22 . However on Friday the 1-18 the truck displayed a cel and started running goofy losing power and finally cut off in the worst /most dangerous place you could imagine. . crossing 6 lanes with aa 5' median and these cars haul butt. Lucky it fired back up and it seemd to run weak but wasn't sure. The truck stayed parked until today. I drove a short distance and the truck started stumbling and running just exactly like a gasser that was running out of fuel. The overhead said catalyst 90% full and within 3 min it said 100% full. First time it has ever displayed anything about the dpf system. On my way to the dealership the truck stumbled lost power would not run but 30 mph and then shut off and would not fire up again. dealer sent a tow truck and a driver to carry me back to the dealer ship. They were very nice and gave me a loaner truck and immediately had their top gun start working on it. They ordered a new dpf and said it was completely plugged up The dealer told me that they were very aggravated by this because the chrysler corp could not give the dealers the fix and that they would replace parts for me for a very very long time no questions asked.
