Nothing earth shattering to report, finally got around to the Frantz filter install. All went well, after a borrowed a ez out for the brass fitting a snapped off in the port on top of the oil filter
. I added a 0-30 psi gauge, hopefully it will be an indicator when the filter needs changing, if not, it was a good excuse to use the gauge that I had lying around for the last year. At start up, when cold, the gauge on the Frantz reads about 15 psi's at idle, goes up to about 20 psi's when I up the RPM's to 2500 ( I have it angled so that I can see the gauge from inside the cab with the hood up). After the oil is warm, at idle psi's are around 5-6. Here's a few pics.....
