Well that sounds great. Only problem is, I can't cook.

hm my friend was in the same position. . i helped him out abit

and got a bottle of scotch :)

the girl didnt know iwas helping him out

just ONE big problem

everything worked out nice

i was around long enough

to see her reaction and was sneaking out of his kitchen

after that. .

but next time he asks a girl out ask if shes a vegetarian. .

i put alot of work in to their meals and the only thing she could eat

was those cooked vegetables and the desert

anyway he got what he wanted and everything worked out nice

and his dog got a pretty nice meal when the girl didnt eat it. .

my point it get someone to help you!

and i hope you will learn so your wife dont starw :)

The best Valentine's gift I ever gave her was to finish my remodel of the master bathroom :)

The best Valentine's gift she ever gave me was a Carli Performance 2. 0 system with Amsoil suspension fluid in the Bilstein's and full rear leafs :)

22 years and still going strong!

subodh, Thanks for all the good advice, however I still won't cook and never have. Now and then I'll go to Costco and pick up a prepared dinner and put it in the Microwave and it's done and my wife is happy. I will make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich once in a while.

Maybe I'll put the silencer ring back on... . for now, sometimes the ladies just don't appreciate the finer sounds in life!

Roses for her

I usually also send roses to her work you know they like all the others to see them getting something. We also usually splurge and go to an expensive resturant, it has kept her happy thus far:-laf I always make it point to do something since she puts up with me spending so much time with my trucks that she says are my 3 misstreses

I have to admit, there is something just not quite right about my wife. I guess that's easy to understand since she married me. I'm not sure what she was thinking there.

Anyhow, the Valentines day gift that she has appreciated the most over the years is the Walther PPKs that I got her a few years ago. There's nothing like polished stainless to say how much you care. Oo.

I already put a FASS on my wife's truck, but mine could use one. Best Valentine's day was probably our first one together. Dinner then back home to roses, champange, strawberries and chocolate.

On Valentine's Day I gave my Bride some of her favorite cookies, heart shaped of course. Then I took her shopping and let her get anything she wanted. Then out for dinner. :D

In return she let me order a few things from Geno's
;)

To go against the grain I will state that I feel Valentines day is the most worthless "holiday" we have... I don't feel society should tell me I have to love my wife on the 14th of Feb. . I love my wife everyday and do things for her at random, when they have meaning. A valentines gift doesn't have meaning, its a commercially driven gift...

So my best advice is to love your wife all the time, do things for her when she isn't expecting them and she will love that you do things for her becuae you want to, not because you have to.

My wife and I are somewhat low-key for Valentine's day. I always get her some flowers, generally some roses, but mostly I like letting the florist get creative with whatever budget I give them. And for dinner we have about a 6-year tradition going of getting a heart shaped pizza from Papa Murphy's. That way we don't have to fight crowds at the restaurants and we get to have a nice dinner that neither of us has to work hard to make.

OK gentlemen: what ever you do it must be memorable, roses are nice but they soon die. It's best to really know your better half. Get her something that will last a long time and it doesn't have to be diamonds either. Pearls are great to. What ever you do it must be from the Heart and very personal. I once gave my wife a gold ring with red & white saphires, she was surprised.
