Moving from Anchorage Alaska to Fresno California in January and was wondering if anybody new of any camprounds within a 25 mile radius of Fresno? Also what the monthly rates are?

There is one by the river

at Centerville on hwy 180 out of Fresno. Just head toward the mountains. Don't remember the name. Real pretty, the river goes in a semi circle around the campground.

Moving from Alaska!?

Wow Puffin Smoke, I have been trying to figure out how I could move to Alaska. I love to hunt and fish, but the wife wants to stay close to the children and grandchildren. MAybe with our new 5'er we can do both???

Good luck on the move, Yosemite is beautiful in the winter.

Yeah Im gonna miss the fishing thats for sure. Gone miss the alaskan TDR guys too. Bunch of good guys up here and willing to help anytime and they have with me. Moving to fresno cause of job transfer. Im a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter mechanic for Lear Siegler Services and we contract with the Army National Gaurd. So I will be working at the Fresno AVCRAD for a little while. Hope the Cali guys are great like the Alaskan guys. Hope to get a chance to meet ya all!

Mike. . be prepaired to drive when we do get together it is usually in Modesto at Brandon's [about 2 hrs north of Fresno]

But the good news is you'll be very close to Tulare about 1hr 15min away south, [a big get together in October at the Ag Center] and a large turnout of guys there from north and south and east [by a few states]. .

also other meets in the Valley [mostly sled pulls]and Mother Load area. . Nowel , CSutton BPine,Brandon and his gang of hot rods, My6EatsV8s [Adam] all are great fans of the pulling so we usually get a bunch of gearheads together.

So advance welcome to Komiefornia... Looking foward to meet ya

oh BTW you will be working with a very old friend of mines brother last name Newsom . . I think he does fixed wing stuff, not sure
